Our Prospective
Being Only Cancer Hospital in Capital City Kathmandu, Our workload has increase drastically compared to the trend seen in the Hospital Statics mentioned above. Similarly we can see from the world wide trend which shows the and due to increment of the patient in the non communicable diseases. Chronic non communicable diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, risk factors, chronic respiratory diseases and cancer  are the major causes of morbidity and mortality in the South Asian Region.
We are currently running with 62 bed capacity, where the bed occupancy rate is more than 90%, which means that hospital should upgrade and enhance its bed capacity and services. In this context we are planning to increase our bed from current 62bed to 110 bed in the next fiscal year. Increment in bed only does not support the hospital services. All the aspects such as HRM, Equipment and instruments, Healthcare waste, water supply and sanitations, etc should be upgraded simultaneously. We have prioritized few of the services as mentioned below:

a)    Cobalt therapy : New Cobalt Therapy Equipment
b)    Up gradation of hospital bed from current 62beds – 110beds: Construction, Human Resource Development, Hospital Furniture, Equipment and Instruments  
c)    Simulator : Equipment for Planning Radiotherapy Treatment
d)    Treatment Planning System : Software for Planning Radiotherapy Treatment
e)    Linear Accelerator:  Equipment for external beam radiation treatments(ERBT)
f)    Water treatment Plant:
g)    Radio diagnosis: CT/ MRI: Equipment for visualize detailed internal structures of Human Body
h)    Construction Of Hospice
